I've only had a few Japanese rice lagers, but this one sticks in my mind as my favorite to date...
Nice light colored brew, a well-blended smell of rice and malt, crisp mouthfeel and an overall solid lager - very sessionable even at 16oz. Definitely will keep this in mind as the warmer weather approaches.

4-pack of 16 ounce cans - $14.99 at Little 5 Points Package Store in Atlanta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a scantly hazed, light pale yellow body with a full flush of sustained white suds. Moderate lacing.
Smell: Light fruitiness hinting of melon dressed up with a little lime and housing an underpinning of florals.
Taste: A light clean kiss of barley with a low grainy sweetness. Modest fruitiness, soft florals. Minimal bitterness at best. The flavors steadily drop off leaving a fairly dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Very subtle creaminess.
Overall: A solid, sufficient rice lager.

Draft pour at the Conestee Nature Park's Hops and Herons Beer Festival (October 2024).
Appearance. Sparkling clear pale straw colored body with a fine white head.
A expected, veey mild clean flavor that's more bitter than sweet.
