Appearance: Clear pale gold, frothy white head with good retention. Fast rising bubbles.
Aroma: floral/spicy hops and cracker-like malt
Flavor & Aftertaste: Spicy/herbal hops. Cracker-like malt. Low sweetness. Moderate to low bitterness.
Mouth-feel: Medium bodied, drying, moderate carbonation. Short, clean, crisp finish with a trailing bitterness that is not harsh or astringent.
Overall: Excellent, enjoyable German style Pils. Being a Northern German style, it does exhibit more bitterness than Southern German; but it is still quite moderate. Aroma leans hoppy with floral and spicy notes. Flavor has a cracker-like malt backbone with spicy/herbal hops notes. Bitterness is present but not harsh or aggressive. Finish is nicely dry with a slight crisp bitter snap that doesn't build as you drink. Very enjoyable Pils and very well crafted. No reason not to bring this one back annually.

Appearance: Served up a fairly clear, gold-hued body with a minimal head from an at-a-bar pour.
Smell: Bready, slightly doughy with a light floral-fruity vibe.
Taste: Bready, doughy with a little flush of wildflower honey. A little hop fruitiness and a flirting floral hint. Has a nice sustained bitterness, though there is a little rebound of cereal sweetness near the soft-yet-crispish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-soft carbonation.
Overall: Pleasant.
