Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden hue as if just a few drops of pink were dripped in. Tall, lofty, off-white head.
Smell: Fruity, a bit tart-scented with an appreciable 'watermelon' nose.
Taste: Fruity, scantly tart, lightly salted with a mildly sweet backing. Watermelon flavorin' with minimal malts and certainly no residual lactic fetid funk. Finishes just as it started out.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body.
Overall: Though a one-off of the Athena, which was initially a bit tart, lacto-tinged, this is frankly more of a simple, simplistic, easy-going fruit ale. Which it is fine at being.
