Copenhagen 10/6 2019. 50 cl bottle from Ølhandleren from Give (Web-shop). Very black label with Vestslesvigs logo (a grey carnivore charging the innocent beer drinker). Not much else.
Pours hazy orange with a medium-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as patchy thin, layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is of decayed summer. Sweet sugary yet wildly sour. Fermented bitter sweetness. Funky odors. Tart, unripe berries.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, uncanny carbonated liveliness.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger tart, sourness. Aftertaste is bitter sweet with an overweight to the bitter side. Lingers shortly.
A bit like a Cider in spontaneous trouble. But an interesting take on something wild in th the civilized north.
