Grandpa pours a deep brown with subtle red highlights with a tan head. The aroma is complex with roasted malt sweetness, caramel, pecan, chocolate, toasted white bread crust, and woody notes. The sweet malt-forward flavors of toasty caramel and chocolate are balanced by a medium to high woody and floral hop profile to round out a smooth easy drinking beer coming in at 4.3%. This beer is perfect for sitting at the bar and enjoying a pint or two. Or to enjoy after you send the grandkids back to their parent's house.
