Chestnut Gathering pours into the glass with a beautiful golden color with a white head. The aroma is sweet, woody, floral, and caramel. This 4% ABV, light-bodied golden ale at first sip is clean and malt forward. Quickly, as the beer coats the palate, a salted caramel-like flavor appears. The aftertaste is dry and unmistakably roasted chestnut. Chestnut Gathering is almost like a blondie dessert bar in a glass.
