12 oz can brought back from Bozeman. Medium golden, what little bit of head it had disappears quickly. Grainy, malty aroma, bread.Taste adds some fruity notes, citrus and a small bitte bite. Easy drinker, goes down like a champ.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a billowy two finger head of pure white foam. The head fades very slowly over time to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is huge of a lightly toasted malt aroma mixed with some caramel and a little bit of yeast and some coriander spice and a little bit of hay.
Taste – The taste is big of a bready and malty taste that has a bit of caramel and a little bit of yeast and spice right upfront. The spice is mainly of a coriander ad clove nature with some light notes of hop of a citrus and herbal nature developing as the taste advances. With other sweeter tastes of tangerine, light fruits, banana, and some spice of clove coming to the tongue In the end, one is left with a somewhat sweet and malty, and nicely spiced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is low. For the mix of slightly sweeter tastes and very light hop, but more spiced and yeasty tastes, the feel is rather nice and makes this an easy drinker.
Overall – I don’t know if I would consider this a “crisp pale ale” as advertised, but it was tasty. If it is a pale ale…. it is definitely of the Belgium style and not the American pale ale style. Tasty and easy drinking, but fruity overall. I rather liked it!!
