Just added this. Not to be confused with the Rum Barrel-Aged version, which I almost rated instead.
Had on tap at Red Lodge Ales after a day of skiing the second to last day of the season (which was almost the weekend before), 04/02/16:
Dark brown, reddish hues, seems partially clear. Not much head as that's how it was poured from tap. Metallic, roasty, vanilla aromas. All of this on the taste, save metallic. Much stronger than smell over all. Some booziness as well. Fairly thick, not quite syrupy, wasn't served on nitro (forgot I could have) so carbonation is pure CO2 and medium, prickly or tingly at first, smoothing to almost velvet.
