Pours a very effervescent gold with 2+ eggshell colored head. Nice lacing & head retention

S: Some grainy & citrus notes, a little peach

T: Green melon, lemons, pomelo, dryness, some sweet grain notes up front. Grassyness, lime, some woody bitterness as this beer warms, plus dryness. Finishes dry with lime, grapefruit & grassy bitterness

MF: Medium body, lively carbonation; good balance

Not a huge fan of session IPAs, but this one hits right to be sure

really good stuff here, one of the better session ipas i have had in awhile, and definitely my favorite hoppy beer i have had from red lodge. its pale golden in color, very fizzy from the tap and holding a nice white head. the hop profile is awesome, with a bright clean lemony orange citrus freshness and a southern hemisphere type white grape and pineapple tropicality, summery for sure, and as flavorful as it smells like it should be. super drinkable too, low alcohol, light in body but not watery, dry as can be, and very well carbonated from the tap. lots of breweries have gone away from session ipa, the trend died as fast as it came up, but its still something i really enjoy, especially this time of year. lots of clean fruitiness to this, delicious hop flavors, i wish i knew what varietals were used, but its unique enough to stand out to me as memorable and interesting. simple grain base, clean fermentation, and a solid dry hop that doesnt overwhelm the lightness of the beer. really well done, i would drink this all summer if it were available to me where i live...
