I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the brewery in Prague.
Appearance: medium amber hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of creamy light tan foam. Lovely!
Smell: very bready, yeasty malt aroma, with a nice level of sweetness. It’s enticing!
Taste: sweet malt with a dose of caramel and a rather bright, even citrusy quality. I quite like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a solid Czech amber lager — balanced and quite drinkable. Ambers aren’t always my thing but they seem to do them well here in Czechia.
