Copenhagen 30/4 2019. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård (web-shop). Very simple label in Black, Green and white with some corn ears.
Pours hazy, murky amber with a big head. Quite gushy upon opening. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, fruity and somewhat yeasty. Fermented fruit, sweet caramel, tart berries - elderberries and gooseberries, humid basement.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness followed by lightly tart, sour bitterness. Aftertaste is quite sweet with light tart undercurrent. Prominent presence of alcohol. Lingering.
Decent but quite sweet take on a Belgian Triple. Nice fruity, tart twist lightens it a bit.
