Blume & Ferris Public House

A new addition to the West Suburbs scene. This is more of a pub than a brewery. They seem to have a rotation of 6 or so beers that they brew themselves but only had 1 on tap. This is still early going, so hopefully the selection will improve. The quality of their Irish stout was excellent. I'll take it over Guinness any day. The vibe is slightly conflicting - on one hand it is really well done, on the other hand, it has a bit of a Disneyland feel to it. It just does not feel authentic and looks and feels like a replica of an Irish pub (albeit a really well done one). The location is a bit awkward. It's on a corner of an industrial park/street but a few blocks from the train. Definitely worth checking out.
