The appearance is pale gold with a fast falling head. The aroma has tangerine candy and metallic elements. The taste is much nicer than the aroma, it's slightly sweet but not cloying and there is just enough hops to balance the citrus and malt. The palate is smooth for the style. Overall you could say it's pretty good if not for the metallic maco lager aroma. Still quite refreshing.

11/29/25 - (Can, Home) (Chicago, IL) Can Notes: Purchased via the Aldi Twelve Days of Beer Fall/Winter 2025 variety twelve pack for $22.14 with tax at the Harwood Heights Aldi on November 7, 2025, and refrigerated until opening this afternoon. 12 oz canned 9/10/25 (can stamp PKGD 04:091025 1034029334). Tangerine Wheat Light, 4.0% ABV. Ale with Tangerine peel and natural flavors. Avg. analysis per 12 FL. OZ: 95 Calories, 3.6g CARB, 0g FAT, 1.2g PROTEIN. Brewed by ABW Virginia Beach LLC in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Appearance: Slow poured the full can into a hourglass weizen glass, yielding a generous bright white bubbly head leaving no lacing but a bubbly ring above the rim and thin cover over the crystal clear golden yellow base with heavy sustained carbonation. Looks great! 4.5
Aroma: Tangerine front and center, citrus, lemon lime backed. Smells a bit like a 7UP pop with Tangerine. Strong and enticing. 3.75
Taste: Similar to the aroma, though with a 7UP lead with the Tangerine backing, though Tangerine takes the lead as I work my way through this. No wheat flavor gathered. 3.75
Mouthfeel: Persistent gentle to light carbonation adds depth to a watery light body. Light easy drinking, pop like sweetness persistent with Tangerine 7UP vibes the entire journey. 4.0
Overall: This reminds me more of a tangerine lemon lime flavored pop than anything else based on the sweetness, body/carbonation and flavoring. Somewhat artificial tasting though still enjoying. Worth a try if you like tangerine and or 7UP. 3.5
