A: The beer is slightly hazy amber yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin layer of white bubbles covering the surface and a small collar around the edge of the glass. As the can is emptied out, the are medium-sized particulates clinging to the bottom of the glass.
S: Light aromas of strawberries are present in the nose along with notes of blackberries.
T: Light flavors of strawberries and blackberries are present in the taste along with notes of lactose. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There are hints of creaminess from the lactose.
O: Based on the smell and taste of this beer, I'd say that it comes closer to being a Fruit and Field beer than an IPA, especially given all of its aromas and flavors of berries and the lack of bitterness. It manages to mask any traces of alcohol very well from the taste.
