16 oz. Can
Canned On: 06/04/18

My first from this brewery.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice translucent dark copper color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy/fizzy one-finger plus off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, with some cherries, key-lime, tart/sour. The taste is pretty nice, malty, yeasty, with a nice touch of cherries, key-lime, nice tart/sour note. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. Nice to see them around here.

Strange name for an interesting beer. From a pint can, this beer is clear and light-amber in color. Not much of a head at all. The aroma is faint...a little grain and a little cherry fruit...not much else. The taste is dryish...a bit tart, but not what I would call sour. Grain and fruit, but otherwise undynamic. Just okay.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/4/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy key limes, red cherries, fruit skin/pits, citrus zest, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of key lime, cherry, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy key limes, red cherries, fruit skin/pits, citrus zest, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy key limes, red cherries, fruit skin/pits, citrus zest, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of key lime, cherry, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/lactose/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero cloying/puckering flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.3%. Overall this is an excellent milkshake sour. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of key lime, cherry, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Great soft feel, not overly lactic. Awesomely balanced juicy/jammy fruit and Lacto complexity; with a great lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone against acidity. Light residual sweetness with lingering acidic/tangy dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected.
