A solid golden pour with a touch of orange. Smells of sour citrus. Tastes fantastic - starts sharp and bitter (but not too bitter) but is primarily earthy with lime flavor that fades wonderfully all accompanied by just a touch of sweetness. Smooth, incredibly full and fluffy feel that's very drinkable for 9%. Overall, the loaded combination of galaxy, citra, mosaic, ekuanot, and nelson sauvin hops (2026) makes for a delicious and complex NEIPA that feels as good as it tastes.

No date on can (reviewing the DDH version, unsure if this one counts), into a wide wine glass.
Pours a thick, murky light orange with tons of white foam. Very appealing. Aroma is Abomination to a T. Overripe fruit, orange and lime rind, and spiciness. Unfortunately, there is a distinct flavor of soap, which has resolved into a short of combination of grapefruit and coconut. I noticed the soap flavor in the previous Wandering into the Fog can I tried, but this one seems to revise itself as I sit and drink. I think it's the combination of VERY bitter grapefruit and a distinct coconut flavor that I'm not used to, alongside some grassiness. It reminds me of cilantro in how bright and vegetal it is, which is probably why I think it tastes like soap.
Soap rant aside, this is really bitter. The combination of lime zest and grapefruit rind make this a heavy sipper since it is so aggressively bitter. There's some old-school malt character on the back end as well. The sheer abrasiveness and high grapefruit character remind me of 3Floyds, but much more new school. The finish is super sticky and bittersweet, with a little malt shining through as well. Mouthfeel is good, very heavy and rich, and honestly, I don't notice any trace of the 9.3% over the crazy bitterness and weird flavors.
Overall, I got over the soap thing decently quick, as it resolved into grapefruit and coconut. Overall, this is a wild one if you like monster IPAs.

No date on can, into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a murky dark orange with copious white foam. Aroma is spicy grapefruit and mango, very potent. Flavor is very juicy and delicious grapefruit and orange, with some coconut on the back end. No soap at all and just juice upon juice. There's a little bitterness, but this version is still orange juice, grapefruit juice, and some coconut juice (not milk) with a tiny bitter hit. Feel is really great, very flavorful but violent levels of alcohol as is standard for Abomination.
Overall, this new iteration hits on the bitterness and rotten fruits that this beer should have, but it is a little generic. I do miss the extreme coconut flavors, but it is very intense and exceptionally tasty.

Packs plenty of dusty, earthy, pithy bitterness. It’s bright without being overly sweet. There’s a little bit of a coconut fat flavor relating to the chewiness and viscosity to the mouth feel. It certainly potent.

A: opague yellow, with a large off white head.
S: mandarin orange, tropical fruit, and a hint of dank.
T: following suit with the dank, but rocking some big earth flavor. Loads of herbal hips in the finish.
M: medium in body with a creamy feel.
O: overall, not the most popular take on the style, but the diversion pays off.

16oz can into a tall glass. Proclaims "drink fresh" but no dating. Wtf.
Literally pours like orange juice. Orange body, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma fairly neutral, faint hint of rotting corpse. (Ahem).
On tasting, warming,, hoppy, lightly sweet, a warming bitterness in the finish, and this is where a light dankness appears.
Overall, nice enough NE DIPA, alcohol very apparent.

They told you up front either - a. they were shooting for a rotting earth taste -or- b. They named it after tasting. Either way, I have no complaints about the naming.
It pours a light, completely clouded, dirty, pale yellow. It is kind of cool looking. The aroma is stanky and enticing. The taste is a bit disappointing in that it really captures that rotting feeling with bitterness and juicy sweetness fighting between themselves. It had a nice burp and you don't notice the alcohol much as you are tackling all that rottingness.
Recommended. It is a chewable IPA. Not a good value at almost six bucks a can but it seems Abominations are always that much around here.

Pours opaque cloudy orange/yellow with a thick white head, fabulous lacing. Aroma is a strong mix of tropical and citrus fruit. Flavor follows the nose, add some melon. Feel is thick and syrupy, low in carbonation. Overall, really tasty.
