16oz can from Salud (Charlotte, NC). 4.99. No discernible canning information. Served in a teku. Enjoyed 6/25/19.
Pours an opaque, pale, muted straw yellow with a short cap of white foam.
Smells of mild citrus, melon and some berries.
Flavors are a bit more bitter than anticipated but in a delicious hoppy way. Orange pith, melons rind, grapefruit, vague berries and grass.
Medium body with moderately light carbonation. The aftertaste blends fruity, hoppy notes of grapefruit, melon and berry on top of some classically bitter grass.
I’d never heard of Abomination Brewing Company but came across this can while visiting Salud in Charlotte. Dystopian Galaxy seems to combine New England pale haze juicy with some classic west coast bitterness.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 6/2019. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.3%. Overall this is an awesome NEDIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft feel, and not aggressive. Awesome Mosaic, Galaxy profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a great wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive well made style example as expected.
