Excellent head production and good retention. Body is opaque and lemon-yellow; attractive for the style.

As you might guess, quite aromatic and hoppy. While Mosaic is popular in hazy IPAs, it was also used pretty commonly in more traditional IPAs when it first blew up, and featuring it in the dry hop does indeed bring back some throwback notes. Stone fruit, green herb, resin, and ruby red grapefruit, accompanied by blueberry and melon.

A bit of astringency and hop burn on the palate, but it's minor. Fairly low expressed dankness (at this age, almost exactly a week old). Juicy but not overly sweet, with notes of peach, pineapple, lemon, orange, cream, and mango. Absolutely delicious profile, although Mosaic tends to change over time, so this flavor profile may not be 100% representative of your experience, depending on freshness; that's one of the reasons this hop is so beloved by some. Medium sweetness.

Soft and creamy mouthfeel.

This is an excellent entry in the WitF series, and a fantastic showcase for Mosaic. When Abomination is at their best, their hazy (I)IPAs can nearly stand up with the biggest names in the game, and this one is among their best. Fantastic.

Nice dull hazy golden with a staying offwhite head. Nice dank tropical scent isn’t as potent as I’d like but nice none the less. Flavor is good, dank, slightly sweet and short on bite. Prickly carbonation and almost not enough body. Pretty decent.

Look...The usual non desript DIPA . light yellow murky brown ...No chunks or floatie
Smell...Papaya yeast orange pineapple melon. Very nice but a little faint, three weeks in maybe?
Taste...Melon forward leading to the smell i mentioned in the above. Sweet up front that put me off a little the first one i had but this on is very inviting, Sweetness with a tangy interlude with a yeasty but not to bitter burn bite. a bready earthy hop bite without astringency.
Feel... full earthy yeasty lovely. Exactly what i expect out of a DIPA. I think it is its best quality.
Overall.. wasn't crazy about the first two but it def grew on me. I will check these guys out again because of the well madeness of the beer. A little spendy but still nice. When i pay brewery price i expect a lot and that is good to expect!!
this is very good. Check it out

This is a reverse-mullet of a beer -- party in the front, business in the back! What I mean by that, is that the finish is dry and clean, while the "start" then is very dynamic and... explosive. There is a hint of that saccharinity that is exclusive to DDH IPA's, but not overwhelming as it is with Junkyard Brewing and a select other few. This saccharinity washes away in a very clean matter with a dry and hoppy finish. This may very well be the most complex IPA I've ever had. extremely rewarding. Seldom do I pay this price for a beer ($21 4-pack of 16 oz cans) but the level of tasteful complexity (and the potency) does make it worth it. This is a remarkably interesting drink of an ale, get her while she's fresh!
