Citra hops have been poppin' lately! Let the dankness flow...
From a pint can into a flute glass; pours with a hazy yellow peach nectar body and a good measure of beige suds. Excellent can art. Pretty good retention; minimal lacing.
Orange rind, mango, dank hemp, banana, papaya, pineapple, guava and mandarin lime juice create a spectacle for the nose; white pepper, basil and spearmint clean up the finish.
Tastes like herb-laced orange juice. Really sharp and fresh IPA bitterness. A splash of mango, orange and banana juice before a crystal clear fresh mint finish. Quite intriguing and tasty.
Nice and smooth, but medium-bodied with a clean and dry finish. Excellent texture.
Delicous! They should put it in four packs.

16oz can straight from the fridge to a nonic.
Pours a medium-hazed straw/light orange color with a moderate amount of white head and lacing.
The nose explodes as soon as the can is popped - nice notes of strong Citra: grapefruit and orange juice, guava and lime. Very hop-forward, and the aroma just lingers around the glass.
The taste follows the nose, Citra-forward again with lots of citrus dominated with grapefruit and orange pith with that touch note of fresh lime. There is a touch more bitterness here than expected but not unpleasant, slightly astringent with an earthy character as well.
It drinks like a 7% or 8% hazy IPA, lower carbonation, smooth body.
Not quite as ‘soft’ as I like my hazy IPA’s but I’m being nitpicky - this is a very good Citra beer and a fine northeast-style IPA.
