Wow. I must try all this series, as they look like Fog and they feature the hop so well,
a) Fog with appropriate lasting haze, lace, head, cap.
s) Tight and medicinal/organic/smoky esters - which MAKES this beer.
t) follows with less fruit and more shellac and pine.
f) Sharp, astringent, in your face.

16oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.
Nose is clementine, pineapple, mango, and grapefruit. Very aromatic. Beer opens dank and juicy tropical fruit notes. I get melon, mango, citrus, and pineapple. Dry throughout. Cane sugar and a touch of soapiness in the middle. Citrus zest and more overripe pineapple at the finish. There's actually a waxy hop bitterness right at the end. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down dry with a waxy finish. Not really feeling that presence right at the end.
Solid beer overall though the feel could use a little work.

Can to Snifter. Side by Side with Mouteka, Idaho 7 and Simcoe versions of Wandering into the Fog.
LOOK: cloudy hazy but bright yellow. medium to large off white head. great retention.
AROMA: tropical fruit, papaya, vegetable, aroma strength is medium, touch of floral.
TASTE: light tropical fruit, grass, palm, radish in finish. touch of red grape? also papaya, guava turns more into blood orange later in sipping. Some sour notes pop up, but over all this gets tastier as it sips.
FEEL: smooth and medium body. OK carbonation.
OA: very nice. low man on totem pole for this tasting, but excellent beer. All of the abomination Wandering into the fog have been suberb.
