Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in February 2026. I drank it within two months of purchase.
Appearance: Very dark black with a little dark tan head. Head was less than 1 finger high, and lasted less than a minute. The head had fine bubbles, typical of a stout. It left very little lacing on the glass, and ended with no head on the beer.
Smell: Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Also some roasted malt smell. Very little hop aroma.
Taste: This is a sweet stout with strong chocolate and vanilla flavors. These are balanced by coffee and roasted malt flavors. There is very little bitter hop flavors. There is a strong alcohol presence, which matches the 13.3% on the label.
Mouth-feel: Full body, but also smooth. A thick stout.
This is a very good Sweet Stout, and I enjoyed the variety of flavors. The balance of flavors is good. Even though it is a full-bodied beer, it is still smooth and enjoyable to drink. I would buy this again.

Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, dark malts and medium sweetness/surprising hint of cotton candy. The flavor is milk chocolate, a hint of cherries, vanilla sweetness and a slightly earthy/roated malt/funky cotton candy finish.

poured thick and black, like used motor oil. little to no head, zero lacing. definitely got the eggnog spice...didn't have the high ABV bite that some other stouts have. would by again

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a only a few bubbles during the pour with a light ring of bubbles around the rim of the glass. Aroma of dark toasted malt, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel and a hint of cocoa. Flavor is dark toasted malt, vanilla, lactose, cocoa, caramel, nutmeg and cinnamon; eggnog spice finish. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess; decent carbonation despite near still pour. Tastes pretty much as described and expected. A heavy malt body with the usual good flavor depth of an Abomination stout, but with the spicing from an eggnog. The mouth feel is fairly close to eggnog, as is the spicing; but rich stout malts like this have too much chocolate character that is not typical for eggnog. On the other hand, I pretended it was an eggnog made of chocolate milk and enjoyed it fairly well. Definitely a holiday occasion rare treat.

Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. The body has a nice vanilla aroma, but not really getting the eggnog or spicy aspect, but there's definitely a lactic vibe. Beer is slick, medium bodied, I do get hints of dark cocoa or something close, vanilla and cinnamon with some heat in the finish although the booze is mostly hidden.

The pour is darker than “stout black” - almost used oil black. It sported a 3/4” dark brown head that left sparse lacing.
The taste, well, definitely a Christmas time stout. Too much eggnog flavor to not be, but it’s more subtle than I expected. The clove sensation is still on my tongue well after I finish. But I barely tasted it.
The feel is the definition of viscous, darned near chewy, but it works well for this one.
OA, not normally in my wheelhouse, but I enjoyed it so much that I think I will try to find a fresh one to see how it differs.

Black in color with no light penetration. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim. The aroma is of lactose and eggnog. I’m tasting eggnog, lactose, and vanilla. The mouth is thick and a bit boozy.

Unintelligibly dated can into pint glass. Pours inky black (no ruby tones even when held up to a light) with a massive and persistent tan head. Limited lacing, but then what do you expect at 13.3%? Initial impression is vanilla, booze, cinnamon and maybe a hint of nutmeg. Mouthfeel is super thick, smooth, and creamy. Finish fades to a sweet cocoa note. Perhaps a little sweet for some tastes, but I think this one is great!

Pours a black color with a very giant tan head. Aroma of cinnamon and other spices and roasted malts. Taste is sweet and spicy with a strong alcohol warmth.

If it's possible to have too much of a good thing in beer, this is it. Incredible for the first few sips, but I had to work thru the second half. If you enjoy stouts you'll appreciate it for the taste and super thick texture, but over the course of a whole beer it's... a lot. Drinking a beer with the texture of eggnog is interesting, but after a while you realize why beer doesn't normally have that texture. Maybe I'm not the target audience, but as a stout fan it's too much for me. I could have one maybe once a month.

Pours black, dark, sticky goodness. Not much for smell, thought I would smell the spices. The mouthfeel is where it is at. Super creamy, sticky and chewy. I contribute that from the egg nog. I love egg nog so this is a win. I would have rated it higher but I am drinking one a year old. Maybe the spices are more prominent on a fresh one. Going to have to find out. Cheers!
