When we did the Rare Fog event during the summer, the highlight may have been the half barrel keg of Tropical Fog we rolled out. It's basically a milkshake version of Fog with loads of pineapple and coconut.

Smells like a fart. Taster is slightly citrusy but also has a minty feeling. Not sure this is the best option for a ne style beer. Not my favorite at all.

From the bottom of the can: "03/22/22 09:31"
Appearance: The body is a bright orange color and is completely opaque. It has a short off-white head that has a light yellow tint to it. The head has a creamy texture and retains well. Not much in the way of lacing.
Aroma: There is a strong aroma of freshly cut mint, as if it came from a garden. It also smells a bit like pineapple.
Taste: It has an interesting but odd flavor. It tastes a bit like aloe and almond milk mixed with some grapefruit and tangerine.
Mouthfeel: It is medium-bodied and pretty easy to drink. There is a mild herbal bitterness.
Overall: It is a strange beer that mixes strong herbal notes with some fruit characteristics. The aloe and mint characters don't quite meld with the fruit notes but they do keep things interesting. The can says it is a "MILKSHAKE STYLE DOUBLE INDIA PALE ALE WITH CITRUS AND VANILLA" which doesn't reveal much about what is inside the beer, but it lives up to the description. I could drink it again but it wouldn't be a regular purchase. I would recommend it to those who like something that is a bit unusual. It won't blow your socks off but it will most likely intrigue you.

Inspired by mimosa, brewed as a beer, Abomination's "milkshake" IPA has a little something for everyone. With not-so-subtle additions of vanilla and citrus, this beer is a far cry from mainland IPA. Its truly tropical.
Pouring with the visual consistency of pea drop soup, a rich and rife matte orange beer settles with a creamy white froth densely packed on top. Bold aromas of tangy orange with hints of complementary citrus, tropical fruit, herb and spice seem nearly as sour as it is hoppy. Sweet and malty on the early palate, the first sips are creamy with cereal, cream, taffy and fruit juice concentrate.
Once on the middle palate, the more hoppy influences fight their way through the persistent malts and show a citrusy taste that shares red grapefruit, lime and orange peel in anticipation of actual orange additions to bring that mimosa flavor to the forefront. Trending herbal with a slim bitter balance, the hops shift toward a moderately resinous taste of hemp, tea, verbena and spruce in a gin-like bite to close. Laced with fruit tartness and this beer can be sold as a sour IPA as well.
Smooth, creamy and off-clean, Tropical Fog is a full flavored, full bodied IPA that celebrates fruit and cream for a smoothie session rather than a refreshing one. They should really sell this beer with a spoon attached.

16oz can. Poured out a very cloudy, thick orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, coconut, orange and sweet caramel/toffee. Lots of coconut taste with pineapple, orange and sweet caramel.

Very cloudy straw appearance with nice white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is a mild grapefruit, orange. Taste is a very pleasant blend of grapefruit, orange and coconut. Feel has a lot of texture.

Served in a Tulip glass from the can.
Appearance: Cloudy brew, with an orange twist color to the brew. Medium bubbles with a white head rising s subtle half a finger's length off the body.
Smell: Light citrus skin smell consisting of a milky aroma. I say this because all I can think about is warm half and half with coconut flakes to the brew.
Taste: Heavy pineapple with deep malts. Mellow coconut sticking with you super dry at the end.
Mouth: Soft carbonation, sticky body. Dry coconut finish at the end.
Overall: Good brew, seriously wouldn't change it for anything in the world. Always in a glass salud!
