If historically, the Germans can add syrups to their sour ales to make them smoother and softer, then so can Abomination Brewing. The additions of orange, vanilla and marshmallow flavor gives their sour ale a summer smoothie flare.
Pastel orange, golden and taupe, Drippy Popsicle with Orange, Vanilla and Marshmallow tops off with an off white meringue before teasing the nose with tartness, citrus and cream. Sweeter with a sense of cereal, powdered sugar and sweet cream, the malty-sweet upstart is redolent with taffy, sherbet and fructose.
As a balance of more natural citrus, cider and white wine offers a sense of balance before the overcast of tangerine brings its smoothie-like intensity to the tastebuds. A rounded taste of vanilla, heavy cream and marshmallow brings the full culmination of dreamsicle to life as the session closes.
Finishing briskly tart, the acidity of white wine, green apple, lemon and lime win out in the end to bring the session back around to the sour ale basics. An afterglow of sourdough and burlap comes with the orange perfume in brief echoes in the retro-olfactory senses.

A beer that continues a trend of beers that aren't really identifiable as beers ... but also taste pretty darn good.
First of all, this is unattractive. It's not just murky. It's pulpy with tons of sediment, and the dark purplish color isn't flattering.
Mouthfeel is borderline; not unpleasant, but not pleasant.
The aroma and flavor, however, are really quite good. Oddly (perhaps influenced by the color), I get notes of grape (which are not added) more than cherry (which are). I pick up zero lime. The blueberry and raspberry are all part of the melange of flavors. It's really tasty ...
... however, it's not much of a beer. It's not at all identifiable as such. It really drinks more like a soda smoothie, if that's a thing. I enjoyed it, but it really seems geared at people who want a buzz, but don't want a beer - and we've already got plenty of products for that segment.
If one might be tempted to ask, in terms of fruity smoothie beers, "How far is too far?" I am tempted to respond, "This. This is too far." I won't deny it's very tasty, but this should join your shopping list for wine coolers, spritzers, and seltzers, not beer.
