From the pint can, it pours a very milky amber color with a modest white head that reduces to a ring and leaves lacing. The nose gets lots of citrus, sweet citrus and possibly a little strawberry - it made me realize it was a milkshake IPA. The mouth follows, with a sweet zing of citrus, a resounding wallop of seemingly creamy sweetness, followed by a modest creamy swet/sour aftertaste. The body is creamy and smooth.

With the sweetheart season upon us, Abomination lives up to their name is devising an imperial IPA laced with Valentine's Day candy, strawberry and hops.
Love Letters From Hell leans in with deep golden orange saturation of color. With a creamy meringue topping off the ale, a bold scent of candied citrus, tropical fruit, vanilla cream and bright leafy herb provide a juicy scent. As its bold cereal sweetness coats the tongue, additional flavors of powdered sugar, sweet cream, french vanilla, honey and aspartame all bring a dessert-like upstart.
While the hops won't be denied, the flavors of blood orange and mango have a major say as the ale washes the middle palate. Trailing fruitiness of passionfruit, pineapple, papaya, pawpaw and kiwi keep the tropical flavors flowing until a moderately bitter taste brings a peppery and resinous balance to the late palate. Verbena, sassafras, cedar and muddled fruit peels frame an herbal bite in the beer's waning flavor.
Full bodied, creamy and plush, the session is mildly cloying because of its milkshake influence and the heavy sugars that linger behind. Otherwise, its a flavorful session that shows some difficulty in drinkability, trailing into a bitter-sweet balance and a spicy vodka-like warmth.

Very cloudy/opaque orangish color with a respectable white head and lots of nice lacing.
The aroma is orange creamcicle, marshmallow and floral hops.
The taste is orange creamcicle with notes of strawberry, marshmallow, lemon, mango, possibly passion fruit and papaya with a piney background. The taste comes in waves and layers so you keep finding something new in every sip. There's a juicy sweetness overlain with tart and a nice level of bitterness in the finish. Somehow all of this masks the 9.6% ABV so you are only vaguely aware.
The body is full, plenty of soft carbonation. smooth and deceptively drinkable.
Altogether, this is a master level example of the milkshake IPA style, excellent and very enjoyable. I will be looking for more from this brewer.

Poured from a pint can into a Nonic Pint glass. Two fingered white head with excellent lacing. The body of the beer is apricot in color, opaque. Nice mix of citrus and marshmallows on the nose. The first sip has that piney, citrus flavor we love, with a marshmallow sweetness on the backside that isn't cloying, but actually masks that 9.6% abv. There is enough hops bitterness to cleanse the palate at the end. I didn't know how this would taste but I was more than pleasantly surprised!

Super fragrant aroma. From a distance, leafy green hop notes waft over. Up close, the sweet and fruity notes emerge. Mango, strawberry, papaya, cream, orange, lemon.
Flavor follows. Despite all the fruitiness and the moderate to high sweetness (certainly for the style), there's a distinctly green and herbal hop note around the edges. Tasting notes of cream, strawberry, orange creamsicle, vanilla, mango, and papaya.
