As explained on the pint can, this is a Battle To The Death. With the contents of said pint can emptied into a clear glass liter mug, it begin. It smells almost flowery, no surprise, as there's obviously plenty of oats and wheat in it. With its overly cloudy body and dirty blond color, it looks like a typical modern American IPA. There's almost no head to describe. There's some citrus and some piney references to the hopping, which comprises some of the taste. That it hides its ABV well is a plus. The finish is sharply dry and bitter, at that point, mostly piney. The mouthfeel is average for the style. This is nicely hopped and probably only for hop-heads. Whatever provides the backbone doesn't soften them that much. But it doesn't offer an extra taste layer, neither. Not that it's really needed, for if you love hops, there's plenty here.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a smoothie thick hazy orangish with thin white ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent dank ripe pineapple and mango notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base with ripe tropical fruit pulp presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had smoove carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Can dated 03/20/23 into pint glass. Pours a murky medium gold color with a substantial off-white head. Great lacing! Initial impression is sweet mango, peach, grapefruit, and pineapple. Mouthfeel is smooth, thick, and sticky. Finish fades to a slightly bitter citrus. Overall, a very tasty NEIPA - not exactly epic, but it checks all the boxes for me.

Wandering Into the Fog Battle of the Hops: Citra & Sabro

Abomination Brewing Comp... IPA - Imperial / Double

Citra vs. Sabro: tangy mango chunks and grass with lime aroma. 4x dry hopped= densly dry, earthy and peppery kick in both, feel and hop flavor. Opaque white haze within the grainy golden color. Smooth fullness. Complexity of hops and grains off the charts
