This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like roasted malt, dried berry, raisin, leathery bourbon, caramel, and vanilla.

This is pretty heavy on the dark fruit, but not in a bad way – that might be coming from the bourbon, who knows? There’s caramel and vanilla and a spicy oaky and leathery barrel character, with lots of roast and some chocolate as well.

This is medium bodied, creamy, and not boozy at all.

This is just yet another great BA stout out from one of the breweries in Twelve Percent’s stable – they’ve all been so enjoyable.
