Good head production, but poor retention, resulting in a flat, lifeless body in the glass after a few minutes. Murky and turbid.
Nose prominently features orange and vanilla, but it tends to drown out whatever the hop expression is supposed to be. Flavor is similar: it really does nail the orange creamsicle aspect, but in a sweet, artificial dessert kind of way. Not bad, but there's no balanced hop expression, and very little bitterness. This isn't an orange creamsicle-inspired IPA; this is basically just an alcoholic liquid orange creamsicle. Not bad, by any means - at the end of the day, it tastes good, which is the most important thing.
