Poured stout black and the brown head tried and failed to cover the surface. No lacing at all.
The taste is pretty much what one would expect from a beer that classifies itself as a milkshake stout- over the top sweetness. Chocolate, peanut butter, lactose- all present and I’m not sure which is dominant. I found it difficult to taste the stout under it all.
The feel is lightly viscous, the term “milkshake” implies much more viscosity but mox nix.
OA, well, it was labeled as a milkshake stout so I guess it would appeal to those who like the style. It’s one and done for me.

Fairly attractive brew ... at first. Turns quite murky and brown, with zero head retention, after a while.
Aroma is very pleasant, implying banana, chocolate, peanuts, and molasses.
Flavor follows. There's a lovely and natural taste to the banana. The peanut butter isn't strong, but it is present. The chocolate is a bit weak, not really standing out much from the malt base.
A bit thin on the palate.
Overall, the flavor concepts are certainly there, but it's lacking the potency and richness of a higher ABV beer. I get that's precisely what they were going for here, but the format just isn't as well suited to it as an imperial pastry stout.

Pours a dark brown color with a bubbly brown head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate and peanut butter. Smooth and creamy.
