Very hazy/cloudy orange color with a modest but lasting off white head and bits of lacing.
The aroma is tropical fruits and citrus blended somehow with ice cream sandwiches - strawberry, yet.
The taste is an explosion of tastes. You start with strawberry ice cream sandwich, hints of vanilla and cocoa, then you get the full tropical blast - tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, mango, passion fruit. The ice cream comes back around in the dry finish along with pine and a cereal note. Somehow this all seems to work well together, somewhat sweet early, nice tartness in the middle, with mild bitterness in the finish. The body is medium/full, good carbonation, very well hidden ABV, creamy smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is a great example of "milkshake IPA", very tasty and enjoyable, should be a great dessert sipper after dinner or anytime just for enjoyment, outstanding.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and caramel. Sweet strawberry and chocolate taste with caramel.

Just like a bitter and citrusy, nine percent ice cream sandwich, Abomination shows how lofty they can be when seeking creativity for their IPA to stand out. Made in the smoothie style and blended with freeze dried ice cream, cocoa nibs and strawberries. But is it out of this world?
Pouring with a standard turbid golden hue, the cloudy Ice Cream Sandwiches In Space shows no signs of candied life as its hazy iPA appearance is spot on. But as the glass passes the nose, the common citrus, tropical and herbal scents are accompanied with chocolate, strawberries and cream. Sweeter, creamier and fuller in its initial taste, the flavors of cereal, vanilla and coconut seems more breakfast like.
But back to form, the middle palate celebrate the more IPA flavors with a burst of tropical mango, passionfruit, pineapple and papaya before a citrusy jolt of tangerine, pink grapefruit and lime. A slow settling of the malt and cereal sweetness leads to a slightly drying late palate fueled by spruce, cedar, verbena, green tea and chive.
Full bodied, creamy, rounded and finishing malty-dry, the late palate trends bitter while those flavors of strawberry, chocolate and cream settle back in for a fruity, milkshake aftertaste.
