A brand new Midnight Snack, and Super Samoa! I'm excited!
Or, well, I was. And then I was disappointed.
I don't get coconut at all. Chocolate hides in the background amid the massive stout base. Instead, there's an overwhelming note of butterscotch, which is likely a combination of the caramel and macaroon cookies.
Mouthfeel is, as usual, sublime, but overall this beer is nowhere near up to their standard.
