This harvest's bounty proves to be fruitful. Abomination's crew gathers all of the gooseberries, mangoes and red raspberries that they could muster for a fruit-centric sour smoothie ale.
This tropical flavored Harvester comes to us with a deep and burnish goldenrod pour with a patiently lifting froth that carries the appearance of orange juice. As its fruity scent rises, a radiant tropical perfume teases the nose but so do some fruit must, vinous tartness, grain and cider. As its sweeter taste layers on the tongue, the ale is rife with cereal, poundcake and cream all while the rise of fruit swirls around mango first and foremost. The tartness of gooseberry is perfect for reeling in the underlying sourness of lime, lemon and green apple. Finishing sweet and tart, the raspberries get left behind but the sour mango character reigns supreme.
Full bodied, creamy, smooth and lightly cloying, the session is plump and mildly drying with the combination of alcohol and acidity to help with palatability in the end.
