Appearance: brown in color with a short 1/2" head that quickly falls to some surface bubbles. No lace develops.
Smell: malt sweetness abounds here which is very pleasant on the nose.
Taste: nice malt heavy profile as there is some toffee, pumpernickel bread, brown sugar sweetness, some dark fruits, and a moderate bitterness. Alcohol is softly noticable.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp to start, smooth at the finish.
Overall: this beer is great if you are in the mood for a malty beer. If you see this on tap you must give it a try.
