Clear copper with a quickly fading head. Some bits of lacing as well. Smell is a blend of bready caramel and fruity yeast notes mixed with light alcohol sweetness and lovely spicy notes. A soupcon of pepper. Taste is full of English style malt with hints of floor malt bread and biscuit and Belgian strong dark with its sweetness. Toasted and roasted grains combine with a touch of smoke and burnt carmel/toffee. Spiciness features the pepper. Nice. Hops are a honeyed pine at first moving to an earthy grapefruit skin that deposits hop oil, graham and light cinnamon. A clean dry finish overall with notes of biscuit as well though the oil leaves light kisses that dry and quench. Feel is kinda weighty with a gentle carbonation and and crisp quenching touch. Overall a great beer that brings the style a high level of drinkability and firm English core to the overall Belgian hopped up experience.

On draft at The Publick House.

Poured a deep copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.

The smell featured moderate esters with a predominantly peppery hop.

The taste consisted of a full ester, peppery herbal hop with a touch of earthiness and light sweetness.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a flavorful BIPA. A nice example of the style.
