On tap at the Southampton Publick House
A: Bright golden color with about two fingers of fluffy white head.
S: Quite a bit of citrus in the aroma.
T: Pleasant grapefruit notes upfront, which are followed out by a malty sweetness that fades into a strong (but not overwhelming) bitterness.
M: Medium to light carbonation, with a light body.
O: A very good offering from Southampton. In my opinion, this Imperial Pale Ale stands way above their regular, and Burton IPA, which is quite impressive for a Pale Ale.
