On draft at the brewery.
Poured a murky dark copper hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a full earthy malt, toasted nuts and a grassy hop.
The taste was likewise earthy with a jagged caramel and buttered breadiness topped by a grassy hop spice.
The mouthfeel was full and chewy with a dry finish.
Overall a very tasty ale and a perfect choice for a cold February day.
