This reddish-brown colored Belgian-Style Dubbel Abbey ale has a medium body and rich malty flavors of dark fruits from the Belgian candy syrup and Belgian yeast esters. Additional sugar lightens the body and dries the finish.

Had on tap. Dark brown opaque body with a tan cap. Smell captures the dark fruit, especially raisin, and the canid sugar, but the yeast smells off. Taste confirms this, overshadowing the dark fruit yet the candi sugar sweetness still bursts through like the kool-aid man, a messy palate. Feel is watery, yeasty but in a harsh and heavy way, malts just never form fully.
