Picked up a 2021 16oz single on 8-20-22 from the Bayou General Store in Banner Elk for $4.98. No canning date; consumed 8-24-22.
Beer poured reddish brown with an okay off-white head,
Nose has hints of dark fruit.
Taste is a large malt base in which the yeast reveals dark cherries and a hint of chocolate. Finishes dry and balanced with only a touch of residual sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and smooth.
Overall a pretty good rendition of the quad style!
