Copenhagen 4/10 2016. 50 cl bottle from Føtex. Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. Label looks like the cover from a Heavy Metal record with a skeleton with flaming eyes reaching out for you. It is probably necessary with a label like that for a Celtic War Beer.
Pours slightly hazy reddish brown with a small white head. Bubbly. Disappears almost completely quite fast. No lacing
Aroma is lightly roasted with dark malts and a little caramel. Some Nordic spices rummaging around.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a light bitterness. Sweet aftertaste.
I do not think that I would drink ten of these before going to war. I would probably die from Sugar Chock before I could bludgeon anybody, anyway.
