Rørvig 17/10 2018. 50 cl bottle from Spar outside Rørvig. Rørvig Bryghus’ usual design in orange with a little Sun Charlotte. Certified Organic.
Pours murky Maroon with big off-white head. Settles as frothy 1 cm thick layer of foam hanging into the side of the glass. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is a little subdued probably due the foam. Sweet lightly roasted malts, caramel, light odor of brown sugar and hints of nuts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft, velvet texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Ends a bit more bitter. Lingers for a short while.
Decent Dark Ale. Could use a little more intensity.
