Rørvig 17/10 2018. 50 cl bottle from Spar outside Rørvig. Rørvig Bryghus’ usual design in Blue with a little Viking Boat. Certified Biodynamic.
Pours slightly hazy, golden yellow with big white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam crawling up the side of the glass. Massive Lacing.
Aroma is a little subdued due to the abundant foam. Solid sweetish malt base. Lighter more floral odor with hints of citrus fruit. Dominated by caramel and lightly roasted malts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft and almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a short while. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the sweet and malty side for a IPA. But easy to drink and not without bitterness.
