Rørvig 19/10 2018. 50 cl bottle from Spar outside Rørvig. Rørvig Brewerys usual design in red with a tilted barrel of beer.
Pours hazy, dark Maroon with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely managing to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is potent and sweet and sour. Lightly roasted caramel. Boozy, sourish notes of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sour, sharp bitter taste. Aftertaste is sharp, a little rough and sour.
Decent take on a dark Bock which get something good out of a fairly modest ABV.
