This was the eighteenth iteration of All Together that I was able to obtain and the first beer from Alewife that I've ever reviewed on here, although I have a couple of others in the queue here at home. Love the label and how close they are to both my garage and all of the other breweries popping up in Long Island City as this beer was pretty close to what I expected, although the aroma was a nice surprise!
Of course, the liquid was hazy but not as gold as many of the other takes on this. This had a more milky appearance to it with enough head topping it off and not a lot of lacing left behind, aside from a few thin and uneven rings about a third of the way down. Loads of tropical fruit burst forth from the nose as it felt like a cross between papaya and a dank fruit cocktail, which gave this a lively and surprising edge to it. The taste was relatively typical for an All Together as the oats, array of hops, and sufficient carbonation allowed for a full and pleasant drinking experience that got more outdoorsy and stronger as I worked my way through this.
Lots of Citra lingered on my teeth and palate as I got near the bottom with the Mosaic and Cascade complementing the body nicely as usual. This had a more fruity and tropical feel as the aftertaste was nicely dank and juicy with the earthiness from the Cascade keeping this somewhat heavy and grounded. No date on the bottom of this can but it was bought fresh at the brewery earlier this week although there were a few bits of dark sediment floating in it and on the bottom of the liquid as well. This was fun and has me eager to crack open the other two Alewife cans that I have here at the house!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
