Pours a finger of tan head on a black body with light brown edges.
The aroma is burnt malt and grain.
The taste is burnt malt, mild lemon bitterness with a burnt finish. Great balance.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A great drinking black lager.

64oz growler : mug
from notes
Pours black, with dark brown edges when held to light and a foamy light tan head.
Roasty, lightly cocoa malts with floral, hoppy accents.
Medium body, mild foam carbonation.
A well done, slightly more hoppy example of a Schwrzbier. Certainly well suited to a growler, mild ABV with a tasty, easy drinking flavor profile.
