Enjoyed from my CBC Teku... Standard dark walnut brew.. sudsy off white head shows no real lacing or retention..
Nose is pretty fantastic... Light dark malt with a hoppy foothold firmly in the PNW... Tangerine and melon hoppiness smack you and let you know the 2015 CBC was in the heart of hop country.
Flavor has all the above goodness but is a nice clean well rounded dark lager.. Surprisingly so.. The dark malt seems more as a light cocoa essence perhaps there just to stain the brew. The Heater Allen influence is obvious.
Out of all the CBC brews, this is the one that seems most planted in the modern era. I would drink this all the time if I had the opportunity.
