Taster at Loyal Legion. Dark and smoky, small skin of head. Dry and chalky feel. Some candy sugar and yeast, dark malts. It all comes together quite nicely.

On tap at the Bier Stein.
While decent, I thought this beer came across as very grapy, both on the nose and palate. There was some underlyling chocolate, brown sugar and light spice as well, but the grapy flavor really seemed to dominate (and so the beer came across as rather sweet). Still a nice beer, though I'm not it's something I can see myself ordering again any time soon.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
