Bottle from Brewers Haven. Pours out kind of flat, head disappears instantly. Sweet milk sugar aroma. Taste too is more of the lactose, mostly sweet, any stout-y Flavors are far in the background. Tastes ok, but should have more roastiness.

Poured from a keg in a room temperature glass for optimal flavor. At first glance the beer is dark in color with a light beige head. Very mild aroma of caramel.

It is malty with hints of caramel. The after taste is slightly smokey with a hint of bacon. It is a very good beer.

Dark brew with a ruby glint, piles of dark beige foam in the Bitburger pokal. There's a whiff of cereal. Medium body with some malty substance. Quite adequate carbonation enlivens the mouthful. Dark roast malt, some caramel, and a distinct grainy taste. Some hints of honey along with the malty sweetness, though not as sweet as some of these Milk Stouts.

Pleasant enough dark brew hat makes a pleasant sip if you're in the mood for the slightly sweet, mellow cereal taste. Alcohol content is listed at 5.4% on the label. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood, Wash.
