On draught at the brewpub, Angler's Amber is clear copper with a steady stream of bubbles forming an off-white head, leaving scattered lace.

Smell is sweet bready malt and floral hops.

Taste is very smooth and mellow. Light caramel malt, with a crispy snappy finish from the floral hops. Very refreshing, a good food beer, drinks more like a hoppy amber lager. Well done!

Mouthfeel is smooth and dry, a bit slick, with a light body.

Drinkability is great, this is a very tasty, quaffable hoppy amber ale that is dangerously smooth thanks to the lagering.
