The brewery team collaborated with local coffee roaster Sleepy Monk Coffee to make this intriguing blonde stout, which features all the roasted coffee and chocolate aromas and flavors of a stout, but in a color you wouldn't expect. Its unassuming light gold color packs an aromatic and flavorful punch of a much darker beer.

Had this beer at the 2014 HAF in Portland. Gave this a fair to poor rating in my program, basically because I don't care for a strong coffee taste in my beer. Also, I have a hard time with it being the wrong color, but I am starting to get used to that. Now my wife enjoyed it so just my opinion.

clear, dark golden in color, white head. Big coffee aroma. But pale malt, no roast. Medium bodied. I guess works as a "White Stout", but I would prefer a regular stout

12oz bottle from Homebrewstuff. Mildly cloudy amber pour, sparse head. Strong coffee aroma. Coffee dominates the taste too. Any roast malts are buried under the coffee.

Golden body, but hugely toasty with an ample coffee/cold-espresso presence full of earthy caramel notes. Pretty unique as far as coffee blondes go.

Slightly hazed pale blonde ale. Three fingers of white bubble head rings of lace appear as the levels drop.
Smell is fresh brewed coffee.
Taste is fresh brewed dark roast coffee and blonde ale.
Mouthfeel is medium with fine carbonation. Finish is dry and mildly bitter.
Overall a tasty if somewhat peculiar beer. Easy drinking though.
