16.9 oz bottle purchased at Capitol Hwy Deli Market.
Pours a very slightly hazy golden amber into my 12 oz tulip glass. Citrus and floral notes in the nose, creamy white head. Then the first taste: one of the most pleasant flavor explosions I've ever had; the mouthfeel is superb to the point of delaying swallowing. The sturdy, malt backbone is very well balanced against a robust 90 IBU. The alcohol, at just under 11%, is hinted but not hidden. I hue closely to double and triple IPAs, and I've got to say this beer is one of the very finest TIPAs I've ever had. My longtime favorite is Boneyard's Notorious, and I've had PtY, Knee Deep Simtra, Culmination's Ferret the Younger, and many, many others. This beer ranks at the top of the list if you enjoy any of those I've mentioned.

Bottle from Market of Choice.
A clear orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is classic, old school TIPA. Piney, resiny, grapefruit heavy hops with a mild sweetness, simple and clean. Alcohol is well hidden. The palate opens bitter, clean and resiny with pungent pine, grapefruit, a touch of allium. This is followed by a simple malt sweetness that complements the grapefruit notes particularly well. Drying, bitter, clean on the finish. While not particularly impressive with the first sip, this is really growing on me.
