This beer pours a golden orange color with a large head and some lacing. Not much aroma and what there is, is tropical citrus. Taste is mild hops without the bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and a nice clean finish. very enjoyable. Part of a 12 pack @ Safeway. Rated 9-10-2023

Look: Light orange and nearly clear with a poofy white head that builds and slowly settles to a pillow, holding well and leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Pine, guava, blueberries, grapefruit, passionfruit, Cannabis, papaya, raspberries, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Opens up with a sappy and sticky hit of freshly crushed pine needles and pitch before being joined by some grapefruit and a lot of tropical fruit. Dank and berries get their chance to shine in the middle before closing with the return of pine and grapefruit, along with a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and moderate to strong dryness present on the finish
Overall: I’m digging it. I’m a huge Mosaic fan if it isn’t used in a way to make it a tropical fruit bomb as it is very multi-faceted and too many other hops can bring the tropical fruit to the table, so I’m glad this fits that bill. Nice pine, berries, dank, and tropical fruit mix and an old-school feel and bite round it out. Tasty stuff here

another tasty new one, these guys have been killing it lately, always so solid across the board! this one is robust, a pretty bold use of mosaic, familiar on the hop side but also a little more assertive and bitter than it is often used, so this stands out to me, clean and tidy, unique in its simplicity, enjoyable. just a tint darker than is trendy right now, but not all old school and malty either, a light orange glow, an average white head from the tap, pretty clear, and sporting lots of carbonation. the nose here is obviously mosaic, but its less pineapple and more pine to me, a little more dank and sticky, also perhaps boiled a little longer with some light green bitterness in the mix to me, some lemon and orange zest and pith, and a little baked malt note in support, but dry and clean too, nothing from the yeast. the taste starts and ends with hops, a gin note to it, only faintly catty as mosaic can be, bitter citrus on the back end, herbal freshness, and a maybe a hint of lime too. this has nice grain balance but stays on the dry side, and the bitterness lingers to me a bit, this stays with me awhile. i like the more assertive and lesser seen side of mosaic here, a simple beer really, but well proportioned and professionally executed as they all are from pelican. rushing carbonation keeps it easy enough drinking, and i found it best when frosty cold, light metallic copper character comes in a little bit as it sits, but this should be appealing to just about anyone who likes hoppy beer. a versatile food beer as well.
